Warranty | Volton Electric Bicycles – Volton Bicycles

Volton Bicycles works hard to develop and supply quality electric bicycles. Nevertheless, there are instances where the products need to be sent back whether for refunds, exchanges or warranty. Volton Bicycles and will cover items that fail when used within normal, properly maintained operating fashion. We develop our bicycles with a variety of manufactured components and we manage all warranty claims.

All new Volton bicycle model purchases include a 2-year warranty.

Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, alterations, modifications, misuse or neglect. All warranty claims are subject to terms and conditions. Download Warranty PDF.

Frame – 2 year

Components– 2 year

Neglected or improperly maintained components are not covered by the terms of the warranty

Excludes wear and tear on tubes, tires, brake pads, cables, chain, freewheel, grips and saddle

Motors – 2 year

Water damage, overheated motors and motor failure due to wire damage and axle spin-out are not covered by the terms of the warranty

Warranty inspection required for all warrantied motors

Battery, Charger and Controller – 2 year

Water damage and misuse, including batteries that have been left to self-discharge for an extended period of time, are not covered by the terms of the warranty.

Electric bicycles are not recommended for use by any persons under 16 years of age without parental supervision. Please obey all traffic regulations, local laws and ordinances. Always wear a helmet while riding. Never operate your electric bike in an unsafe manner. Check local and state laws before riding on streets.

As the buyer of an electric bike you are responsible for safety, use, law and insurance issues.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY: The purpose of this Terms and Conditions agreement is to alleviate the Seller (Volton Bicycles) from any and all liability arising out of any injury or other damage caused by the purchase, use, or misuse of the Goods (products, parts and/or items).

By purchasing the Goods, you are making the following affirmative representation(s):

I am over 18 and an adult under the laws of my state and country

I acknowledge and am aware of the risks, hazards and dangers of personal injury, death and disability inherent with the use of these Goods and voluntarily assume any and all risk associated with loss, damage or injury while operating said Goods.

In no event will Seller be liable to me or anyone else for any damages or injury caused by misuse or improper use of the Goods, or actions taken by me in reliance on information or views whether verbal or in literature purchased or obtained through Seller or for any incidental, consequential, special, or similar damages

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Seller and all other parties involved including but not limited to owners, officers, affiliates, associates and employees for any and all damages incurred as a result of misuse of the Goods. These parties shall not be liable under any theory whatsoever.

In no event shall Seller be liable under any damages other than the amount paid by me for product. Any and all other damages, direct or indirect, special, incidental, consequential or punitive, are hereby excluded

I HAVE CLEARLY READ AND UNDERSTAND THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, AS WELL AS ANY AND ALL CAUTIONS & WARNINGS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARNINGS PRINTED WITH GOODS (IF ANY). I hereby agree to carefully abide by these cautions and warnings.

ENFORCEMENT OF TERMS & CONDITIONS:

By accessing and purchasing any products, parts and/or items, you are subject to our Terms & Conditions agreement as mentioned above
